Root Barrier
Flexible, waterproof, cut-off wall.
Hi. Welcome. Looking for the most cost effective way to prevent root damage and to ensure moisture stabilisation, you’ve come to the right place.
This is a brief audiovisual with a special offer for you at the end.
Root Barrier has been in business for 14 years now. This light weight plastic shield, which is just 0.7mm thick, is especially designed to form an impenetrable barrier against tree roots and excessive moisture and damp.
Root Barrier is placed in a narrow trench, which is dug around the building, normally to a depth of 1 to 2 metres, depending on the soil type. The narrowness of this trench means far less mess and refill. The trench is located 1 to 2 metres from the wall of the building.
This effectively extends the foundations on which the building sits. This impermeable barrier acts as a cut-off wall, stopping the moisture leaching away from under the building. Very little moisture loss can take place, and thus future movement from this cause is eliminated.
Trees, which in the past had to be removed because of their damaging effect on foundations, can now remain and exist quite happily along-side the buildings, without causing any problems underground.
Our special offer for you, fill in your details in the form on the right hand side of this page and submit, and we’ll send you a valuable article titled "The five critical points to solve problems with tree roots, moisture and reactive soils" with no cost or obligation for you.
Hit submit and we’ll take you directly to the Root Barrier website, or if you prefer, bookmark this page, check out the site, then come back and take up the offer. If you’d like to hear the audio again, please click on the triangle button under the visuals.
We look forward to serving you. Thanks for your time.
